The Cartell CW-SYS adds wireless vehicle detection to any electric gate operator for free exit. Suitable for residential or commercial applications. Not recommended for use with solar gates.
Overview
The Cartell CW-SYS is a wireless vehicle detection system designed to add free-exit capability to any electric gate operator. It works in both residential and commercial applications. The sensor can be installed in the driveway, beside the driveway, or on a post adjacent to the drive. Do not use the CW-SYS with solar gates, the CP-4 is recommended for solar gate applications instead.

- 12 to 14 feet of detection range when vehicle passes sensor at a minimum of 5 MPH
- For short driveways: install in the middle of the driveway and reduce sensor sensitivity
- For wide driveways: install multiple units 12 ft. apart or on both sides
- 25mA standby current draw from the Integrator, check technical specifications before installing

Important Installation Notes
- Vehicle must travel at least 5 MPH past the sensor to achieve 12 to 14 feet of detection
- Do not place the sensor in close proximity to the gate, it will not operate as designed
- Test the application with a vehicle prior to final installation
