The EMX Industries 1122-1 IRB-RET2 is a UL 325-2018 compliant retroreflective photoeye with an operating range of 5 ft to 60 ft (1.5 m to 18.3 m) and six selectable monitoring interfaces for automatic gate applications.
EMX IRB-RET2 Retro-Reflective Photoeye
The EMX IRB-RET2 is a weatherproof retro-reflective photoeye designed to provide reliable entrapment protection for automatic gates and doors. Its compact design, rugged enclosure, and easy alignment LED make installation simple for both indoor and outdoor applications.
This UL 325-2018 compliant Type B1 non-contact sensor is built to work with a wide range of monitored gate operators, as well as many non-monitored legacy systems. With six selectable monitoring interfaces and an included ball and socket mounting bracket, the IRB-RET2 offers flexible installation and dependable safety performance.

Non-Monitored Setup
For non-monitored applications, follow Diagram B and set DIP switch SW2 position 1 to OFF.
