The DKO-1602-590 is a genuine DoorKing 1602 Parking Control Barrier Gate Operator designed for limited-use, high-security traffic control applications. This operator is commonly used in conjunction with DoorKing wedge barrier systems to control wide traffic lanes up to 27 feet.
The Model 1602 features a 60:1 worm gear reduction system running in a continuous oil bath, delivering smooth, reliable performance. The barrier arm rotates 90° in approximately 5.5 seconds, making it suitable for low-cycle environments such as prisons, airport security areas, and industrial facilities.
The housing is constructed from G90 galvanized steel with a durable white finish and is rated NEMA 4X for enhanced environmental protection. The unit includes magnetic electronic limit controls, programmable switching, a built-in On/Off power switch, and a selectable warning beeper.
