Overview
The Linear ACT-31DH is a 1-Channel Factory Block Coded Key Ring TRANS PROX Transmitter and 26-bit Wiegand HID-Compatible Proximity Tag designed for use with Linear's access control products. It combines a radio frequency transmitter and a proximity tag in a single key ring device, eliminating the need for a separate proximity card or tag. The unit ships with a quick-disconnect key ring and lithium batteries rated for a five-year service life.
The ACT-31DH utilizes Linear's MegaCode format, with each transmitter factory preprogrammed with one of over 1,000,000 unique codes, virtually eliminating the possibility of code duplication. Because the receiver learns each specific code, no unauthorized person can gain access by reprogramming a transmitter.
The built-in 26-bit Wiegand HID-Compatible proximity tag is programmed to the same block code as the transmitter. Waving the transmitter near a compatible reader will request access from the system.
