AWID® SENTINEL-PROX KP-6840 READER

The AWID Sentinel-Prox KP-6840 is a combination proximity card reader and PIN keypad designed for access control applications requiring dual authentication. It supports Wiegand and RS-232 outputs and is compatible with most standard access control panels. The reader offers a 6–8 inch read range and includes an integrated LED indicator and piezo beeper for visual and audible feedback. Electronics are fully potted with epoxy for durability in demanding indoor or outdoor environments. The KP-6840 mounts on a standard single-gang electrical box or directly to a wall, making it ideal for doors, gates, and secured entry points.
