BD Loops BD-LG2-CASE is a case of 12 tubes of BD-LG2 Winter Blend two-component polyurethane detector loop sealant, formulated to cure even in freezing temperatures.
Overview
BD Loops BD-LG2-CASE contains 12 tubes of BD-LG2, a two-component polyurethane detector loop sealant designed for use in both asphalt and concrete pavement. It delivers a weather-resistant, chemical-resistant, waterproof seal for inductance loops installed in saw-cut slots. BD-LG2 is engineered to cure in below-freezing temperatures — a key advantage over standard loop sealants — and offers a 15-minute gel time at or above 59°F (15°C).

Gel Time in Saw-Cut Slot
Based on a 1" deep x 1/4" wide saw cut; times reflect temperature of material and substrate:
- 23°F (-5°C): 120 minutes
- 41°F (5°C): 45 minutes
- 59°F (15°C): 15 minutes
- Over 59°F (15°C): Less than 15 minutes
Application Notes
- Saw-cut slot must be clean and dry (free of dust, water, and ice) before application
- If substrate is damp or lightly iced, dry with a torch or hot air gun prior to application
- Slightly underfilling the groove by 1/8" allows traffic immediately after application
- BD-LG2 should not contact water while curing — contact with water may cause off-gassing and air bubbles
- For maximum shelf life, store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place
