BD Loops EL 16-60 is a preformed direct burial vehicle detection loop designed for installation in concrete pours, asphalt paving, gravel, or dirt. The loop features a 16’ perimeter and fits a 3x5 or 4x4 loop pattern, with a 60 ft lead-in for routing back to the loop detector. The loop section is constructed using solid 16 AWG copper wire, making it rigid and easy to position during installation without falling below rebar. A durable outer jacket tightly binds and protects the conductors for long-term reliability. Unlike loops installed through conduit, this design helps reduce phantom detections caused by ground vibration. Each loop is tested multiple ways before leaving the factory to ensure dependable performance.
