The Maximum Controls MAX MEGATRON 1400-HP-PRO is a high profile, high traffic, heavy duty commercial brushless DC swing gate operator capable of opening gates up to 1,400 lbs / 15 ft or 1,200 lbs / 20 ft. Its fast-speed direct drive system — with no chains, belts, or pulleys — opens a gate 90 degrees in 11.5 to 18 seconds based on gate weight and selectable speed control. The 1400-HP-PRO ships with AGM 7 amp hour battery backup enabling over 400 cycles in case of power failure. This operator is also compatible with existing installations and in most cases can be directly bolted onto concrete pads used by the most common gate operators in the industry.

With the introduction of the Matrix lll PRO Series control board, all Maximum Controls pad mount gate operators became solar ready. In solar mode (sleep mode) with a Solar Power Pack installed, the PRO series machines excel in commercial as well as residential applications. With the Solar Combiner, up to 4 Solar Power Packs with 200W solar panels can be wired together to form a single ended 24VDC supply source — a UL approved expandable feature only available from Maximum Controls.
