Linear MCS302210 Gate Safety Edge Transmitter
The Linear MCS302210 is a Gate Safety Edge Transmitter designed to add obstacle sensing to motorized gates or barrier arms — with no cables or coiled wires required.
Overview
The Linear MCS302210 Gate Safety Edge Transmitter provides obstacle sensing for motorized gates or barrier arms. It mounts directly on the gate or barrier arm and wires to a standard exterior safety edge sensor — a Miller gate edge sensor is recommended. When an obstacle is detected, the sensor presents a closed circuit and the MCS302210 transmits a signal to the receiver, triggering the gate operator to stop or reverse movement. This approach is more economical and discreet than traditional coiled cord connection methods.
The MCS302210 is housed in a weather-resistant fiberglass enclosure with a moisture-resistant coated circuit board. The enclosure mounts through sealed interior screws.
